You know... with all the shenanigans going on, it is easy to get distracted from the serious plot going on... the flashbacks at the start of each chapter, or better said, the entire story, hinges on a "bedrock" of intrigue, expectations, abuse, betrayal, love, and dedication.
Nagi's analytical prowess was really impressive, she was dissecting a very unique situation, based solely on the broken accounts of witnesses, incomplete and shaky info left by the victim, and deduction, without a way to completely corroborate any of that... and she was pretty much right in everything.
It seems she lived her entire life in that village... but I bet if she had travelled through the country, she would have become someone famous.

You see the way that girl is mooning at him on pg. 14? At first I thought that girl was Tomita's best friend, you know, the gossipy one but that's not her after all. Good thing too... Tomita is rich, she could have her killed for lookin' at her man! 😆Man Kaoru really is going to be a heart breaker in the future. Not that he isn't already right now

I love the ancestral Nagi! I wanna see her power in a fight! In the first appearance of the current Nagi, she says something about the malevolent power decreasing with something like "my ancestors never could have anticipated..."

Plz help me clarify there were 5 spiritual beings at play at the start of this manga in regards to yamatagi madara correct?
1 - dara-san: good priestess top half, evil snake bottom half
2 - evil snake head
3 - evil snake consciousness possessing teenage girl
4 - evil priestess dormant within dara-san (destroyed now)
5 - manufactered deity to weaken yamatagi madara
