I can't believe it took me till now to realize that Dara-san name is taken from Kankandara, the japanese internet based legend.

Im pretty sure its just the dara from yamatagi maDARA. The kids just shortened it to be something easier to say and to be a cuter name.

With her being an enshrined Yokai and all that worship having a direct tangible effect on her, the misogiya siblings are probably making her both stronger and more stable. Meaning evil snake Yamatagi has less and less of a chance at ever regaining control.

Not just is the evil snake basically doomed to never take over Dara anymore (she accepted the new name and everything, she's basically reborn as a guardian deity), he is also being changed by them and being turned into Dara-san's subordinate as a guardian of the children.

Actually, It wasn't that expensive when I played MTG 30 years ago back in school
Sure, it took a while to collect pocket money for a deck but it was doable. Now not so lol.

Also an Adult playing seriously against kids is kinda like clubbing seals lol

Just a thought about the ancestral Nagi. She got trained by the same Master that trained the two twin shrine maidens and was mentioned to be a prodigy. She's living in an age of peace with Juurota and other villagers just setting up the seals that will hold the snek and Dara-San in place later. That's cool and all but...

The thing is, I wish we could see the old-time Nagi get in a fight. Be nice to see what she could do to bring the whomp-ass! She'd probably be pretty formidable compared to the human Dara-San used to be and her evil sister. I'd love to see her cut loose on some hapless Yokai that wandered in wrong!

Thanks for the chapter, I now ship Goki and Hanako, and I'm glad that in this chapter Maria and Vanilla were able to finally tie the knot and become room mates, good for them I've been rooting for their outcome since their introduction in the series.
