Silly students, texting is an asynchronous communication medium.

Also, Nayu's face sometimes reminds me of the frog girl from Hero Academia.

This kind of chapter is fun. I remember there was a chapter of a manga, I think it was "I's" where they have misunderstandings caused by an answering machine. When I read it it was already somewhat older tech. In ten years I can imagine people going "phones used to run out of battery? weird"

Just realized I already said this like 10 chapters ago but seriously, who does that?
three dorks typing at warp speed while watching a burgeoning high school romance with the strict rule of "no interference" that Manager-san is chomping at the bit at every second to break if it'll push the romance forward.

No, more seriously- I've never seen it happen in real life- but I have seen caricatures. I wonder if it's not fully stamps, but caricature stamps one who has art skills doodled up. (I bet it was manager. He seems like that kind of old man)

Oh, my misread, i thought the text said “Genshin-guy” :haa: kinda sad that Nayu-chan and MC’s fun texting had to end just because MC smartphone ran out of battery

I mean, it's legally distinct Genshin.

Eh, the battery life curve is not so straightforward. It hasn't just been getting better over time. Mobile phones from 20 years ago had incredible battery life compared to today.

Battery tech has improved, but the drain has increased even faster than that. Very high speed cellular modems, big, bright full color screens with high refresh rates, tremendously more demanding software running on far more powerful SoCs. My last feature phone would last about a week on a charge. My first smartphone would last 2-3 days. My next couple couldn't last a day. Now my current one can last a day and a half maybe under normal usage. But newer phones are laden with a ton of AI crap no one ordered, so I'm sure their battery life has gotten worse.

I doubt battery life will stop being a concern within ten years. It might be worse than ever.

Best faces this chapter:
1. Bottom left of page 4
2. The progression of the middles from 8-10

God, I love this manga.
