I'm not sure she's a construct; Sorawo's eye didn't seem to react to her. I think she might be the result of a child being aware of the Otherside from an extremely young age, or maybe even being born there; she has learned the "language" and intuitively knows the logic of how the Otherside works. She doesn't need to rely on urban legends and magic powers like Sorawo, she just knows "the gate is that way because that looks like someplace a gate would be."
