Speed Ditter is more relevant to what knights do in their home dutchy, think the Lord of Winter battle Erenfest does every winter.
Treasure Stealing Ditter has a different purpose to prepare a dutchy for, the professor does hint to this when he talked about how the dutchies have to plan, form alliances, and such between even other dutchies showing that it is a ditter more relevant to actual warfare.
I do find it funny how Ferdinand didn't prioritize Erenfest to win.

Because Veronica had most of the Erenfest dutchy discriminate against him, his loyalty to the dutchy was almost zero at that time.

Also, Ferdi got to acquire a lot of ingredients exclusive to other dutchies with his schemes.

Spoiler: Supply chain is a reason the mid and small dutchies struggle too.

Every dutchy dorm has a gathering spot they get ingredients to make tools and potions with but these are not as bountiful as they once were. The knowledge of how to replenish them kinda got forgotten.

Not forgotten, but rather that the process is arduous because they have to recruit several blue priests with meager mana to do it over several days. Rozemyne says it herself, that with a schtappe, archducal candidate levels of mana, and rejuvination potions allowed her to do it much more rapidly. If anything is forgotten, it's knowledge of how to create the divine instruments with one's schtappe
