I would even point out that many of those anime were also based on Journey to the West, especially before the 90s.

I feel like it is a clone.
1. Even though it is a slice of life, such a defeat was too quick and looked fake.
2. Why would a dragon king disappear after being defeated? I doubt that a power of friendship attack would annihilate him completely.
3. So if he was a real dragon king, does that mean a rate guy is gonna be his sucessor because he was present at the moment of his defeat & brought fhose who defeated him? How would our fellow loli react, knowing how kinda greedy to power she is?
