Despite the nature of its lyrics, i think this is the best creep cover i listened to due to both feelings and lyrics themselves in the song being translated to current day. Afterall creep as an insult has lost most of its meaning nowdays.
And call it a delusion of mine but I like how lyrics seem disconnected from each other. Reiterating things singer saw online, reiterating them like a mantra to chase away the isolation and feeling of failure and to absolve himself of the guilt of his own percieved failure by blaming it on external and internal factors he can't control. And to prove his state failure and legitimatize his lack of improvement and his state of of being crestfallen, he talks about his shortcomings and things he does,
"Don't talk to females, Just jerk off and cry".

Plus, you can't expect someone with good voice to embody the feeling of being failed, isolated and disregarded, so even something that can be called a shortcoming feels like a bonus to me in this specific song.
I like Stevie Wonder, I got reminded of this song after seeing his face.

Been a while, here're two I've been kneading into my brain as of late:
Blood Red Skies by Judas Priest
not bad for a metal song. most metal is too 'head-bangey' for me. fun fact: did you know that metal is my second favorite pokemon type? 6.1/10

AND
River by Anonymouz, the First Opening Song for Vinland Saga Season 2
i wish they used the wind instruments at the beginning more, they're kino.

AND
the lyrics are quite profound if you listen closely. fun fact: did you know that rivers flow into oceans? so when the singer talks about a 'river' taking her out to the 'ocean', those lyrics are based in objective and observable reality.

6.9/10

i know i've heard this cover before, but i can't remember when/where. probably on previous upload that was taken down. anyways yeah, the lyrics are quite topical and realistic. i'm not in favor of falling into nihilism and the like, but i understand why it happens. the singer is still spitting facts though, though those with incorrectly-affected discernment will never admit it.

6.3/10 still though lol

6.8/10, never really was a huge fan of this song, not that it's bad per se, just not as strong as his other songs

thanks for the three links to the same song.

i liked it the more times i listened, but i think there's a rating ceiling when half of a song is a little girl talking about having a psychedelic trip and becoming a frog. 6.5/10

(also, assuming she's Fr*nch, isn't she already a frog?)

@TheTopAdventure have you ever heard of invidious / nadeko? it might appeal to a linux nerd like you

Some gorillaz
one of the most touching songs ever created (hot take, i know). i've always gotten a sense of acceptance/finality from it, as if it's meant to play after something 'has already happened'. 9.4/10

>progress bar shows the worst part has the highest playback

which reminds me: if you ever come across someone with a Gorillaz pfp, disregard their opinions entirely. "people" like them do not have rational thought— rather, they laud that which is irrational and ambiguous, and communicate such motives to each other through irregular frequencies as bats do.

still a decent song though. 7.3/10

7.8/10, how serene. keep submitting songs like this and i might just let you out of my basement.
Your taste is like a middle aged man who is sipping coffee on Friday evening with no worries and haste of life and a lovely family and serene job. And you are also japanese.
I understand why @Angry_Panda gets high ratings now

wow, you must have a pretty sizeable library. i, too, am quite proud of my library's size, and i talk about it to anyone who'll listen.
I check how many files there are in my music folder and there are 1200+ files :worry:

independently of that though, the song is not pleasant to listen to, especially around the 2:30 mark. i've heard plenty of japanese/vocaloid songs like this that just turn up the slider on everything, and i've come to the conclusion that the people who enjoy them possess a specific gene. i bet @panzerkampfwagyu would enjoy it at least.

3.7/10

4.4/10 same broad genre as the last one. thinking on it more, maybe the fast-paced erraticism simply appeals to autistic people searching for something to stim to rather than them possessing a specific gene.
I definitely can't deny being an autist

It seems you prefer songs that are more pleasant to listen, so how about Kokia?
This song is from Ar Tonelico, the language used is conlang used in that game
