Oh wow, the scale was so big that place is going to have lasting trust issues T-T people finding out one of their family members was involved, people who were closest of friends or lovers, finding out the other person was also participating...

Thank Sora for being so silently OP.

Are you referring to the story or reality?
It's the same picture!

Dude!, that city is going to need new residents now, they are going to be shorthanded now
but so far, the only thing they know is that they are "enemies", that goes from "helping a bit" to "i handed the merchandise to the buyer directly", so now they probably will have to do some sifting...

But still, if they helped even a bit... they better go far away, they wouldn´t be able to live peacefully in a place that knows that you helped a child trafficking ring, even if that help was a small unknowing favor

I don't remember that speech being in the light novel, feel kinda mixed on the execution of this arc in the manga.

It was dragging two years ago.
This whole arc, from the moment they arrived in town to a few chapters past this point was all just 1 volume of the ln.

it didn’t feel like it was dragging there, but that’s likely because I read it in two days instead of two years

I wonder how much of the city's leadership and military structure is going to be left at this point, really. But it seems we're wrapping up?

Thanks for the translation!

Damn, they are going to have to do a lot of investigation, as they don't know how much each person participated, some of them might not even have helped them voluntarily.
