In this universe, “noon” is something called “toon.” It’s good fantasy worldbuilding
The manga used to be biweekly, then we had a few "no chapter this time" while the novel version got uploaded (and then quickly deleted), and then we had 3 months of no chapters at all because "preparing for comiket, preparing for volume release".I don't understand why people are blaming Yom. He just draws it. Surely he's not the one deciding what makes it into the manga version and what doesn't.
Considering one of the things he has to draw is... this. He's probably burnt out.The manga used to be biweekly, then we had a few "no chapter this time" while the novel version got uploaded (and then quickly deleted), and then we had 3 months of no chapters at all because "preparing for comiket, preparing for volume release".
Just take a look at Yom's activity on Xitter and compare it to how it used to be in 2023 or even 2024. He is just not drawing much anymore for some reason.
this is not a restaurant and I'm not a waiter, get out of here!Waiter, waiter, i ordered a chapter with actual content, not this 30 second read of nothing useful
What does any of that have to do with the story just getting worse and worse? The manga used to be biweekly, then we had a few "no chapter this time" while the novel version got uploaded (and then quickly deleted), and then we had 3 months of no chapters at all because "preparing for comiket, preparing for volume release".

Everybody swears this is going end in yuri and watch how it ends with them just being friend and ta kun being left outThis is such a nothingburger chapter. Idky they're dragging it out instead of just getting it over with in terms of exploring the yuri undertones the story set up with Hikari and Ayami. I feel like the chapter is pretty clear on that being the intention, but it edges that development instead of actually diving into it. Regardless, I still feel like, to some degree, that'd be straight up just bad writing
The story has genuinely been coddling Ayami and throwing whatever fault she has for this onto Yuu since the school festival stuff ended, despite her very much being the cause of that incident. It's hard for me to subscribe to the narrative that it's Yuu's passivity/indecision causing their problems when this all started because Yuu made his decision, but Ayami didn't like said decision, so she crashed out, hurting all 3 of them almost deliberately in the process (remember, she kissed Yuu because she saw Hikari was there)
There has to be an actual acknowledgement that loving either of them has only ever brought him grief if we're doing this that actually gets explored and not just waived off at the end or handled in an epilogue chapter for this to work out without leaving a sour taste in my mouth
Eh, Yuu made that decision b/c at the time he didn't think Aya was an option. Now that Aya's back in the picture he's back to telling himself that Hikari's not all that interested in him (the comment last chapter about Hikari not remembering special places) and effectively chooses Aya.Yuu made his decision, but Ayami didn't like said decision
It's cuz their friendship has had yuri bait since quite literally Ayami's introduction. I don't really blame people for thinking the author will actually explore. I don't really care for that route anyways, so if all of that ends up being just bait, I wouldn't really care or be botheredEverybody swears this is going end in yuri and watch how it ends with them just being friend and ta kun being left out
