Absolutely glacial pacing. The duel started in the latter half of chapter 12, and if it's finally ending here, that's ~28% of the manga thus far spent on one fight.

Damn, that's hard to recover from if you want readers to stay invested.

Bro joins the harem as the tsundere.

Seriously I don't really like it if the MC just copy the power and overpowered him in the exact way the opponent meant to use the power.
He said he only copied the surface, but yet still overwhelmed him without any creative way to make up the difference in experience of close range battle.
That's practically make this new friend has no strong signature thing to offer since his best (that is build up in years of efforts) is worthless against a less than a day cheap copy of the MC.

I mean, the story is a pretty typical power fantasy where the MC is a Living God with little appreciable effort; that's just kinda what you have to expect going in. No struggle, no stress, no wondering if the MC is going to make it out of this one. You have exactly two things to worry about with power fantasy isekais:

  1. How hard is the MC going to stomp all over their opponent?
  2. Will the opponent become a follower or just perish?
    1. If female and the MC is male, how long will it take until they get a crush on him and want to become part of his harem?
That's it. All else is pre-ordained; read presuming the MC is The Strongest Being On The Planet (even if they technically aren't, they are for the purposes of the story most times), and go from there, you'll have a much better time of it.

Yeah, it is the normal tropes. Hopefully they can do a good twist, but this is exactly why i don't like superman and why people gravitate towards batman.
Now a good plot twist, would be having a consequence to MC being overpowered, like causing people he cares about to die or him making the situation far worse. But odds are this is a power fantasy for powerless people to read on the train when they get home at 8:00 pm from a terrible day as office workers in tokyo.
