Earlier she straight up had 4 people disappear or die so we have seen she's more then happy to go to extremes. Overall the tone has been trending lighter though so I'm imagining it's all going be a misunderstanding and end well.
It definitely puts his revenge on the clock. If his human memories are going to continue to decay the weight of his hatred towards the demons will shrink and have to compete with ever growing positive memories or the demons.
If it wants to do a tragedy ending I imagine he gets his revenge but...

I think there isn't anything missing. This was her attempt to see if he would do something since he stopped when he thought she was asleep but she forgot the others were coming over.
Would be kinda neat if it was just the leaders trying to hold shit together without him now. But my guess with how much the story emphasised the throne when talking about rebellion it's gonna end up he respawns at it unless it gets captured
