There are a lot of things in this manga that have chunibyou names.... which is fine, this manga is just awesome with how wholeheartedly it embraces fun fantasy stuff. It's pretty much pure glee. Ahem. Anyhow, like the bunny girl is a 'harealean', the 'half-fitch' is pretty obviously a halfling.

I am quite happy that this accident (the knife slash through the building) from chapter 2 is still a major plot point - in most manga it would have already mysteriously been fixed.

The joke with the beer swimsuit is that every major brewery in Japan makes a bar poster (and other ads) like this for all their flagship beers. The beach, palm trees, blue skies, and a busty swimsuit model holding a mug (or glass) of their beer in a similar pose. Often emphasizing the 'nama'...

I said in the comments to another chapter that this is maybe the most wholesome manga on MD that still needs the 'Suggestive' tag. Very minimal spoilers: (Yes I broke my normal rule of only going a chapter ahead and flipped through the rest of vol 4... but didn't really read it, so still good).

I can say the actual cuteness continues - like over half the next chapter is a broken air conditioner.
