Question. Page 18, “lodd”?

It’s commonly translated from the Japanese kakigoori (as used in this manga) as simply “shaved ice”, including in the English title on MD. Bingsu is a Korean word I’ve never encountered before today and even has a separate page on Wikipedia Japan: かき氷, ピンス.

I had to google “bingsu”. If you’re translating from Japanese to English how did that end up in Korean?

Pg 4: was the wrong series title pasted in or something? Pg 6: what’s a “henobis”? ノービス = novice.

I don’t have this version, but there is definitely a missing page.

Split chapters are from online (rather than magazine) serialisations and are nothing to do with the source material, it’s simply seen by publishers as the ideal length to drive engagement with people reading on mobiles and while commuting etc.

It’s not a numbered chapter; it was labelled in the magazine as bangai-hen and serialised between Chapter 2: Chapter 15 and Chapter 16 (yes, the arcs are called “chapters” and yes, it’s stupid)

The first chapter is free and linked right here on MD. Why not actually try reading it before jumping to conclusions?

“long long long” ago was around 6 weeks. There no way I know to convert the new thumbnail URLs (either the rimg. thumbs from the global or JP desktop site or c. thumbs from the JP mobile site) to full size covers.

We ordinarily follow the tanks for numbering. This one is trickier than just renumbering because chapters were also combined and we also only have the first 8 pages of tank chapter 5.

Seven Sisters chapter 8 on MD is only the first half of chapter 5 in the tankoubon; all chapters were combined and renumbered. The second half of tankoubon ch 5 and all of ch 6 aren’t on MD at all and there may well be magazine chapters past that point that were never collected as the first...

Page 23: she does not say “tsu”. It is 「…ッ！」, a glottal stop used to indicate a sort of silent exclamation or sharp intake of breath. I assume the 「え…」on pg 30 rendered as “en?” as a typo for “eh?”

Grammar issues aside: Pg 3: it is “Shijuuin Kako” (じゅ is Ju, or Jyu in some romanisation schemes, not “Jiyu”) and it is Tougaki (とうがき) Yuzu, not “Toukaki”. Pg 14: “nt body” should be “my” Pg 18: I don’t see where this clunky “12 period hour-glass” is coming from when 砂時計 is just plain hourglass.

This chapter is 38 pages long. The whole series is available to buy in tankoubon form, e.g. from the BookWalker link. It’s Kadokawa and they rarely leave much more than the first chapter of web manga online after the volumes come out (and often remove them even before that)

If there was one then.. yes.

It’s not like having legs necessarily means you could catch a rat running past you. no…. like the gorgon from Greek mythology which Fate referenced.
