@carmichael - thank you so much. You get it. Anyone complaining about this series is automatically a shitbird in my book. Author is doing a great job of writing a story with depth without spelling every little thing out and coupled with the excellent artwork that never takes even a single panel...

@Red_Joker agreed. I'm really glad the author doesn't include things like simple / cheap reaction images or chibi drawings of the characters when they act cheeky / funny. It's really nice to see a series where the great art style and awesome character designs are not only consistent but executed...

This was a heavy but great chapter. Wonderful stuff from the author, really.

@GrimThoughts no genre or series is exempt from the manga / anime food circlejerk. The most goofy, soft spoken, shy, and silent characters become food critics and adjective spewing foodies after tasting food in Japanese fiction :D

@amaterasunaps - Definitely. You made me think of that eye / speed test where it shows you the names of colors but the color shows up in a different color than what it says. So it shows you the word "Red" but the color of the word is Blue. The correct answer would be Blue but your brain / sight...
