@silverdust totally agree. I understand why people dislike her but the main reason she's being mean to MODEL-Yeseul is because she was picked as a model over her. It's pure jealousy that's taking form because the make up guy (can't think of his name) turned her down for Yeseul. Without make up guy there's no jealousy / no reason to be mean to her. She dislikes the fact that she was overlooked for someone else so she's assuming she lost out to someone who has a form of physical beauty superior to her own. She said in her own thoughts that her looks are the only true power she has and that's a huge form of insecurity. It's obvious she has major hangups about only being "eye candy" and she projects that all over the place at the rate of a fire hose.

She said, "No matter what I see under that costume I won't like it", but it wasn't about looks per say it was more about the fact that the jealousy hurts her so much coupled with the fact that she can't get the satisfaction of seeing why someone else would be picked over her. She feels like Yeseul is rubbing it in, which she's not, but even in that case it's still anger spawned from make up guy picking someone else over her -- someone that won't even grant her the satisfaction of showing her why she wasn't picked and it's driving her mad in the total opposite way that Yeseul's kindness drives her mad in a positive way. She's a tale of two extremes. Two sides of the same coin.

I realize why people would dislike her but I really do enjoy the fact that she's not only believable but seems like a whole character. This author is top notch.

@paulmanton i think more than jealousy she is angry at the fact that the person he chose was less then the standards she was at/ was expecting, like he could do better than a person who lack the self confidence to even show her real face in front of the camera.
of course yeseul has her own reasons for doing so but as someone who considers herself capable in her work it pisses her off that MODEL-yeseul is hiding her face as it comes off as being half-assed in what you're doing and not taking it seriously in her eyes
so she's pissed off at both of them, the makeup guy for hurting her pride as a model and MODEL-Yesuel for lacking the confidence after being chosen by him

I definitely agree with that. You definitely said it better / summed it up much more succinctly than I did !

I think the success Yeseul is having from the contest is going to help build up her confidence. She might not be "beautiful" in the traditional way most models are but I'm sure we've all seen non-traditional looking models who are beautiful to us -- for many different reasons. Sure, there are the "Perfect 10" type models with perfect faces and bodies but I tend to think the models that stand out are the ones with very unique faces / facial features. Yeseul does come off rather plain, though, so maybe her "story" or whatever you want to call it that comes along / attached to her modeling career about having hangups about her looks / looking plain / not looking like a model appearance-wise will be endearing to viewers / voters and that will help propel her ranking / the votes and thus her confidence!

Ok that sunset smile of the Sunbae…that boy looks straight up cute, there is no denying that. I don't care who you are but seeing that face I think your heart would be warmed a least a little.

I also enjoyed that awkward but more straightforward chat between Jeewon and Yeseul, it's rather refreshing especially with two girls coming from opposite sides of the same problem.
