In the earlier chapters, there were beginning panels that showed that there was at least a sixth volume, and I think the last that I saw was volume 8. It's not over, but getting someone to translate the raws is a different story.

I do not know what the feeling of loosing to a sentient cannon feels like, but I imagine its somewhere along the lines of firing a moon destroying laser without actually hitting any of your targets.
