The lawyer and by extension his client is going to learn that history is trying to repeat itself except Jimi is now a hardened cynic who is more resistant as he is essentially broken and just glued together with stubbornness and tears.

They were 17-18 depending on birthday
At that age, commiting crime is not by accident anymore, these dipshits should all get jail time and public shaming
I heard that that's exactly why legal adult age has been lowered to 18 y.o from previously 20 y.o in Japan. It gives access to 18 y.o to Credit Card, Driving Licence, and yes, Prosecution. But not alcohol and tobacco, they are still 20 y.o minimum.

Yikes, so as the backstory unfolds, the teacher is going to take the blame for mishandling a bag situation that started long before he even started working.

I think that lawyer is going to regret any confidentiality statements involved.

I can already tell this is gonna be rough. A naive teacher being confronted headon with that sort of environment :notlikethis:

So, now we know what happened in the past. What really happened. Or at least, the beginning of the events.
The important question now is: what is the connection between Erika and Yuriko? Is it emulation? Is Erika using the old case to just brimg despair to others just to "redeem" herself of something of the past?
I'm also curious as to why/how all the problem girls were put in the same class

For the last part, somebody explained it in one of the earlier chapters as Japanese schools usually put all the problem children in one class to keep them away from other kids, and then assigning a teacher that is unliked by the rest of the teachers.

That means the school knew about it even before he came to the school, but they still sacrifices him for all the things that were completely out of his hands. Even the "bullies" face weren't exposed, yet his face were known on the media.
