So, you are telling me that a politician, whose political career could permanently end with a single miserable scandal, actually paid some random ass company probably tens of millions of yen so that the company would fire two random people. The other alternative would be for the company to receive a fat contract from the government without winning any bids, but that's an astronomical risk to take, no matter how you look at it, plus it could even be difficult for a random politician to pull off. All because the politician's psycho daughter asked the politician to do so, with no sensible explanations to boot.

The mangaka is grasping at straws extremely desperately to come up with a story this contrived.
