Every time I hit my follow list now, half the updates are just new translations of old chapters.

Yeah, I'm sorry to kind of saturate the title like this, haha. However, I want to stress that Procrastination is doing a fine job and our release is not meant as an attack on them in any way—we've just had most of volume 1 finished-ish for the last few months (as early as May.... whoops), but I was too caught up with RL things to release. Besides, I felt like it'd be a shame to just sit on it if it were already done. Sorry about that! (And we're a low-volume group, so it honestly doesn't take away from our other projects.)

Our raws may seem slightly different because we have been using the source from the digital volume. This eliminates the need for splitting it into segments since there's no split in the chapter itself, while the split does exist in the web/raw source version. (This also means that we will always be behind the raws, so keep that in mind. We will never be a competitor for speed, haha.)

Chapter 3 should be forthcoming within the next couple of weeks, and 4 not too far after that. If people would prefer it not be posted here, that's absolutely fine too, I just figured with the way the chapters are titled it wouldn't interfere with Procrastination's/current releases so people could decide/compare at will.

tl;dr: We're slow and ch. 2 was already done, whoops. Procrastination is A+, feel free to stick with them if you'd like, I just use this as "voice" training for my actual job.

I had no idea you guys were still working on this title!! I picked this manga up as a favor to a friend who told me the project had been abandoned... had I known this project was still active I wouldn't have translated it, I'm sorry!
I definitely think you guys should keep publishing your version, your typesetting and flow of language is off the charts and I really don't see the harm in having different versions up, especially since yours are much better quality! I actually think it would be better to only have your version of ch 2 up, but it would be a shame to delete the already published chapters since there are comments and stuff on there :/ If I understand it correctly you've basically already finished the next couple of chapters as well right? If you want to discuss how to proceed with this series in general, hmu! It seems like a waste to do twice the work from here on out, I wouldn't mind collaborating or dropping this series if that's what you guys would prefer

...This seems to imply that the dead, therefore, aren't constrained by this limitation. So... Stop your heart, and have them send your body to, say, in the middle of a trauma center where you'll get immediate medical attention. If it's fast enough, and depending on how you do it, you can be revived and not suffer any lasting ill effects (like, say, brain damage).

Actually, one of the better ways would be to take a dip into absolutely fucking freezing water and get hypothermia and drown/freeze. Many people have been successfully and healthily resuscitated after that. And you have a pretty long window of time to do it (hours) - people have been clinically dead for hours and yet been resuscitated. Sometimes there's lingering effects like trauma to the brain, but it's surprisingly survivable considering during that time period of up to a few hours you can be completely, medically/legally, dead and be brought back to life.

...It will also help speed up your diagnosis when whatever medical professional finds you sees you're blue, cold as fuck and have no vitals.

Depending on what you mean by "like that" there are several characters like her or some perhaps even better than her in Fullmetal Alchemist alone? Anyway, that aside, for some reason a lot of the shoujo isekai stuff does seem generally better than the shounen end for some reason. Both ends do have the same excessive reliance on particular tropes though so the good bits can get bogged down heavily very easily. We haven't quite hit that yet here but I can sort of feel the opportunity for it to come lurking just out of reach.

At that point, the comment section might become the exact kind of commentary I will just end up skipping over because there isn't enough cheese to go with all that whine people will be bringing out. They'll probably never drop it, but they'll screech the entire way through so fuck it, unless I have something funny to say I probably won't even check the comments once that starts happening.
