If she was “strong” enough to ruin Serenia why didn’t she just do that in the first place. It still wouldn't change the fact that the duke really just doesn’t like you, but it would save time from Valerie and Marshal getting harassed by you. Now the end result is that Serenia, your big target, doesn’t even have to get involved and you look like a whiny bitch in front of the duke. Even worse you attacked the lady the duke actually wants to be in love with, she fumbled the bag HARD.

@Meo If you reread the chapters then you should understand that he fell for her pretty early on. He had a deal with her father that she can end the engagement with no consequence if she's not happy which led him to work towards actually getting to know her and trying to please her instead of avoiding her as he was wont to do. As he chased her, he fell for her, but because he is socially inept he was unable to convey those feelings properly and get her to respond in kind. Pretty basic plot.

I love that Valerie stood up to Mureya to protect her brother. It will hopefully enable her to be more open with her family.
Even if Mureya were strong enough to ruin Serenia, what would that accomplish? It won't make Kylus fall in love with her, that's for sure. At this point, she's just lashing out.
