Simon's armor (or sword) give him somekind of immortality through regeneration, so when the MC (Yoke or York, who knows) go back to the dungeon to rescue Jamie, he and the girls fights Simon, but since that mf literally becomes somekind of a monster, the MC finally decides to "kill" him, so he puts somekind of poison curse on him, that would only stop from melting him from inside out when he dies, but since he's now immortal, he enters in an eternal loop of agony.
And the cherry on the top of the cake is: the place where they fight is full of shadow monsters, so after the fight, those monsters will have a nice and eternal piece of meal named Simon the cursed immortal.

Pointed it out before many times but in the raw his name is spelled Yuke or quite literally Yuuku [ユーク]. I honestly don't know what they're doing with his name anymore.

I'm so exhausted of the way rape is casually dropped into manga as if it is meant to be enjoyed. It does nothing for the story or for the characters. It's just disgusting.

And to specify, the theme has its place for a specific narrative. But this is used as cheap, visual shock value that just devalues the actual, horrific trauma that rape creates.

No, I'm obviously aware; I'm just tired of the trope of isekais defaulting to women getting raped while men get eaten. Especially as shock value. Feels shallow and overdone, I guess. Everyone could've just been eaten but no, let's just feature some orc fuckin'.

But that's just my personal gripe. It's isekai, I'm sure nobody's surprised this genre features it.
