Another reason I hate "kind" trope MC, inherited from JP author cultural indoctrination. Japanese don't have the concept of "justified homicide" or "lethal force in self defense".

thats's more like the WN version, since yoke is more ruthless there
at that point, its not like yoke cant kill simon, but simon has become immortal and he cant be killed,
therefore yoke need to curse him into deathloop to completely stop him, since simon can never be killed off for real
i never read the LN, so i dont know about the LN ver
