For whichever doofus decided to spend their time to read it...Wow this arc has some pretty garbage asspull writing.
Not only that but its not even like fun or exciting to read, who was this writen for? The editor only?!?!?
Guess uncle is some great adventurer who went through similar adventures before. Him telling the story makes, since he's talking to a kid who's parents recently died and the point of the story is to accept death and that death isn't the end. Depending on the kind of bizarre shit the uncle encountered, it might or might not be weird for him to expect the kid to meet the literal personification of death. However, it works either way since you should probably approach the personification the same way as the concept itself, since the personality should match. Also, who is this uncle? Why did he started the story that it will save MC one day. Make zero senses.
for all paying fans?who was this writen for? The editor only?!?!?

No pulling out the uncle tells a story that MC suddenly remembers when meeting said death god... First question, why is the Uncle telling MC this story when he's so young? For what purpose? Why will it one day save his life? This wasn't foreshadowed or anything, this is the author pulling all this out of the ass to get an explaination and have it resolved quickly.People complaining about the flashback when Yoke just literally met the Goddess of Death in the dungeon, same Goddess mentioned in the flashback. Seriously?
Also yes, the Uncle is a freaking legend actually. Something I believe the manga has depicted here and there in flashbacks and with people mentioning it in previous chapters.
Anyway, there's a hint of what will happen yo a certain 'hero' about the reborn into the all stream there.
Sure, don't like the manga for legit reasons. Fine, that's normal. But don't make up reasons just cause you have a reading comprehension problems.
I mean honestly I had completely forgotten about Yoke's backstory, so to me it was like wait what's happening, I just sort of didn't care, but coming here helped me figure things outThank you, took this many comments to see someone who can remember.
The other comments mentioning asspull just don't remember the other chapters.
His uncle was the leader of the party with the guildmaster and guild receptionist that explored the colorless/endless dungeon that the MC party is currently exploring, decades ago before the kingdom decided to seal it and unseal it recently to explore it again.
It's not an asspull that the uncle would know stories related to adventuring. It's not an asspull MC knows it when it's been established that the majority of his skill set and knowledge came from being mentored by his uncle and self-study.
Is that unreasonable that Yoke would remember a story immediately that brought him to tears in the past?
