But this? This didn't come out of nowhere. It's just that no one has ever seen what happens inside of a dungeon when a stampede actually begins to happen. You could even say that finding out what happens is part of why they were sent in there in the first place.

Seriously, people saying this is a dues ex machina is like reading Frank Herbert's Dune and saying that the Harkonens attacking the Atreides on planet Arakis was a dues ex machina.

For those who keep asking about the "Chanting, just leave it", yeah it was a typesetter mistake. I'm guessing the translator just wrote that as a message to the typesetter to just leave the text that's in the bubbles, which is some made-up fantasy letters with no meaning, but they thought she was actually saying that, over and over again.
