Good that she finally jumped ship. I find how most authors handle this setup to be annoying, part of why I dropped Arifureta. Usually, when the asshole/bully shifts their target after the mc leaves, the new target just ends up a bigger asshole to emphasize how good the mc is. I would rather they reflect and switch sides or leave the situation all together. They could still be a foil by choosing to deal with it/developing differently from the mc, that would just require any dichotomy other than "mc absolute good, everyone else bad" while also showing that characters other than the mc can change, grow, and go on their own journey in ways that may differ or contradict the mc's choices...honestly still disappointed at the lost opportunity for this in Point Gifter.
