Funny how ML is already trying to pursue MC hinting at being alone together but MC is just thinking about her daughters.

Thanks for the chapter.

This guy is a whole fucking red flag, fucking Crimson. If she says no to his advances and she knows that whoever has his hatred targeted on them suffers, then she's forced to comply? He's super threatening.

In this chapter it just seems like he wants to be alone with her to sex it up and to flirt with this lady who he knows nothing about except that she has a brother and 3 daughters.

Cinderella's lack of awareness is starting to get annoying, I never liked the overly clumsy type of character. But the sisters are super precious!

I really like her. She's supportive of her children, she tries to set a good example, she covers for them, they're so lucky

Man I loved this manga. Her inner thoughts were logical and normal for someone of her status, which means that the reason why she's ignoring how this guy might be flirting with her is made quite clear. It's not on her mind and she's always thinking about her daughters. This man is not being especially forward with his advances so she's allowed to not interpret his actions as being flirtatious. Just bravo to the storywriter overall.

@Xeredge The visiting her house thing is kinda invasive but he's not that bad of a guy. How else would he get close to a woman guarded? We don't know if he really a threat yet, since the brother may be a little biased against him since the brother offended him and had to compensate for his rudeness. The red flag thing I get, however he's not a bad guy YET. Later on maybe, but right now, she's just the right amount of guarded against him without totally and utterly rejecting him yet being open enough to let him talk to her. He's just trying to take the opportunity.

Not gonna lie, he's not pretty upfront with his advances, which allows her to have the decency not to interpret his actions as a flirt.

@Gurgling, I agree!! This is what makes this different from a lot of the other series :). Like she's not a damsel in distress & isn't falling for this sketchy dude -- so me likey

Thx for another chapter, too!! <3

i think one reason why this guy seems sketch or off-putting is bc his advances and feigned ignorance (like his comment about expecting to explore the house alone with mildred, despite mildred having 3 young daughters she needs to look after!!!) reflects his... idk rather conceited personality. like in the last ch when she calls his attitude "cocky", this guy seems to think he's not exactly doing anything wrong when he's talking to FL, even though it's very easy to interpret his attitude as coming off too strong/borderline inappropriate.

i honestly don't think he's a bad person. i just think he needs to be reminded that not everyone will find him agreeable or give him a pass on the way he conducts himself 🤔 it's not a bad thing to have secrets or act somewhat mysterious or vague, but u gotta at least be considerate to the other party you're trying to woo talking to

thanks for the update! the writing for this story is actually kinda subtle and refreshing. i love seeing mama mildred put her daughters' well-being and education in the forefront of her thoughts 🥰🥰

There is nothing wrong with not revealing one's whole existence including private facts at the first meeting, especially if they are not exactly pleasant speeches. And his behavior does not come out of the typical polite flirtation (okay, maybe he's a bit too much of a flirt, evidently interested in Mildred to remain vague) of the pseudo-Victorian era in which the manwha seems to be set, judging by the clothing and costumes
