Ability to change name (every few months)

Kind of like Twitch where you get to change your username every 90 days. Would be nice to be able to be able to change it to something else without needing to create a new account + losing all stats from original account...

@apothem If you'd like to request a name change, all you have to do is DM Holo or Ixlone. Automation would be nice though.

Didn't know about that, but yes this request is more for a page to change your username.

Yeah, could allow a change once every few months or something. It isn't possible right now because no doubt it would be abused.

@Holo Can we just set it to how Bato.to used to do it (IIRC it was every 30 days)? That worked, nobody really abused it.

To be honest I don't really see why this would need to be a site feature, you're welcome to ask the admins for a name change if you need one.

@Teasday It's a small feature that is convenient. Majority of users won't know that all they need to do to get a name change is PM an admin. This just lets them do it without asking.

Most sites don't support such a feature, but some do (Twitter, Twitch, to name two that I am aware of). For those that do, it's useful especially when I get sick of my current username (which sometimes are made based on whatever is currently popular/whatever is stuck in my head at that moment).
