Command & Conquer: Generals is an awesome RTS from before EA was trash

it's old enough that it can run on most computers without any difficulty, plus since it's older it can be downloaded for free from some less reputable sites, otherwise it's on Origin as part of the Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection which are almost all great classic RTS games as well

Okay, we're good to go, now I make target little more difficult. Advice timekiller RTS with JUNGLE BIOMES/about jungles.
Also, Microsoft is good company (I don't like Microsoft store, but it is still better than the steam).

Good old RTS,
I remember the old days,
wasting away time.

[ul] StarCraft franchise[/ul]
[ul] Warcraft franchise[/ul]
[ul]Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance[/ul]
[ul]Stronghold[/ul]
[ul]Warzone 2100[/ul]
[ul]WH40k: Dawn of War[/ul]
[ul] Company of Heroes franchise[/ul]
[ul]Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion[/ul]

But beyond the scope,
I have even more to share,
a glorious list.

[ul]Hearts Of Iron 3[/ul]
[ul]Europa Universalis 3 & 4[/ul]
[ul]Victoria 2[/ul]
[ul]Men Of War: Assault Squad2[/ul]
[ul]Wargame: Red Dragon[/ul]
[ul]Endless Space[/ul]

As for time killers,
MMO & RPGs,
best way to burn time.

[ul]Maplestory 2[/ul]
[ul]Soulworker (Burning)[/ul]
[ul]EVE Online[/ul]
[ul]BDO[/ul]
[ul]Echo Of Souls[/ul]
[ul]Diablo2[/ul]
[ul]Torchlight 2[/ul]
[ul] Divinity: Original Sin[/ul]
[ul]Binary Domain[/ul]
[ul]Alpha Protocol[/ul]
[ul]Star wolves 3: Civil War[/ul]

Don't like to have fun?
Just want to torture yourself?
I have just the thing!

[ul]Aurora 4x[/ul]
[ul]TIS-100[/ul]
[ul]XCOM: Enemy Unknown[/ul]

Sounds like a bad joke,
Japanese RTS games...
are they even real?

I don't like MMO & RPG.
I request offline RTS timekiller, which will work without internet connection and will have a good japanese design. Don't judge me, don't get up on your small pedestal and don't open here "Judge hour".

No rules were stated,
a preference was mentioned,
and I didn't judge.

And no, I didn't
read the other comments here,
clearly I misjudged.

Is it the haiku?
Sorry, my unwritten rule,
with few exceptions.

Here is one more screenshot about timekiller that I am searching. The game called Power Dolls, it was released in 1994 by Kogado studio. Design is near the design that I am searching. But game has not randomly generated maps.

I believe that's turn based strategy, not real time strategy.
closest to that game is front mission I guess (and maybe valkyria chronicle series)
you'll have a hard time looking for Japanese RTS, moreover a good one.
It's simply not on their culture. but you could find some fringe/experimental release like galaxy angel series.

Some major release that cross my mind first are are Koei's Sangokushi/Romance of Three Kingdom, or the feudal Japan variant Nobunaga no Yabou/Nobunaga Ambition series, but those are not pure RTS either. (I link the newest release, but some fans would recommend older series as those are better gameplay wise )

How is Stellaris actually? I bought it but never really touched it. What's the "Necessary" DLC that all Paradox games seem to have 😟?

P.S

Oh look, it's Homeworld,
something you don't see often.
Some day I'll buy it.
