They're both 15. Assuming this story takes place some time between 2022 and 2023, both of them would have been 9-10 years old when the Switch came out 6 years ago. That's elementary school age, which matches the flashback just fine.

what do you know about Japanese highschool culture? There is many of them who ends up being a NEET, and some of them really believe they can be isekai'd. It's the reality of Japanese people. It's not unthinkable that many of them is an overthinking person

No, Japanese high school culture is not being a fucking NEET loser. The overwhelming majority of people are not Hikikomori. The way every manga is has a protagonist like this makes you believe that every boy must be stupid as fuck like this. Once again, nothing to do with the nature of Japanese people (that is such a weird trail of thoughts). In reality, most manga portray boys like this clueless dumb fuck so they can thicken the chapter count and keep dragging it on for long. And I'm saying that it's a shit strategy. Simple.

My initial point was about this guy being unrealistically clueless, and it's recurring theme in many manga which just sells this stupid narrative of all boys being dense idiots when nobody is actually this clueless. ...Man. This chapter is such a bundle of complicated feels. One one hand, I completely get her self loathing for one-sidedly manipulating the one she likes into kissing her out of envy even she herself knows is misplaced (give her some slack, we know what we know, but within the setting, she doesn't). The shame she has for liking it, despite thinking it was wrong.
On the other, my girl, you did this to yourself from start to finish. You managed to create a position where the situation for him to do what you want is the one where he doesn't care, making it meaningless. Either he quits and walks away from the game you created, or you stay in a deadlock of your own creation.
Rarely is a personal hell as ironic as this.
