I think the one-shot is hilarious. It's a send-up of all the stupid BS Bakuman style stupid "Wait for me till I prove myself" BS manga that are out there. I hate those premise so much, everything about them is stupid and unrealistic. This is probably a much more realistic expression of what would happen to someone who is that way, so I'm all for it. Bakuman should have ended that way too, lol.
