Agree with the TL notes, seems like the most probable lore.
Although, peeps think he might be gay and this author has been wild recently. Some heavy rape bait in this manga + sexual content of said rape, a wholesome oneshot into a really vile NTR oneshot and now speedrunning lore.

Honestly, some info is long overdue. I do think it will most probably end up like the most recent oneshot with how Shizuku behaves but tbh, I wouldn't even mind it with how flat she has been for a long while now and with how little magic is left.
