God i know it's been said before but the way this series does MOVEMENT is absolutely incredible
I'm pretty sure you don't know Japanese and you're probably also ESL. It shows. If you're going to "scanlate", ignoring the community etiquette, no one is going to help you get better and you'll only earn contempt.I hate people who think they have a monopoly on the joy others get from something, as if they own the release timeline. I didn't even know this community nonsense existed until today.
Ok I think see what you're doing. You're twisting words way too well for a release so low-effort to be an honest attempt. Well good luck with your endeavor.I hate people who think they have a monopoly on the joy others get from something, as if they own the release timeline. I didn't even know this community nonsense existed until today.
I can release it privately moving forward, because I respect the work that's been done. I mean zero disrespect in that regard, but I equally hold little respect for pearl clutching. I'm still translating it. Now I'll just be doing it day one, because I want to.
To be extremely clear, nobody wants to wait (by this manga's current release schedule) up to potentially four months for an English language release of a single chapter.
When you're officially licensed, you can send me a C&D.
Best regards.
As far as I can see, you re-translated from the Spanish release. The translation errors are the same.
Why should I (or anyone besides the group) fix the Spanish translation errors? If they don't understand Japanese correctly, it's their fault, not anyone else's.So if the spanish release has errors, why is no one there helping fix those errors? Isn't the quality top priority? Why are you letting other releases have any random errors that could be fixed right now? Because it's not convenient for you, that's why. If the Spanish release was perfect, it could easily be translated to english by anyone, so letting the Spanish release be "sloppy" guarantees the only quality release would be in English, whenever it arrives.
My mexican friends don't know English, and even though this manga is marvelous I can't recommend it to them because of the Spanish translation mistakes. But of course, that doesn't matter to all you English only speakers for sure.
So it only matters when it steps on your toes but not anybody else's.Why should I (or anyone besides the group) fix the Spanish translation errors? If they don't understand Japanese correctly, it's their fault, not anyone else's.
The ideal thing is to translate from Japanese to your language of choice while knowing both languages well enough to not make, or make only minor mistakes.
Also, even English scanlators make mistakes (especially the ones who use AI to translate), so an English version isn't a guarantee of accuracy. In the end, most groups translating to any language never fix their mistakes, unless it's a gross misinterpretation people point out. But few readers are able to spot mistakes.
I don't read the Spanish releases because I don't speak a lick of Spanish. How could I spot mistakes? I said this about this release because someone who speaks Spanish told me there were errors in translation and that they were duplicated here.
The things with re-translating is that you reproduce the mistakes and maybe add new ones. It's a bad practice, unless you re-translate from official, which are hopefully error free.
I don't get what you mean. I'm not the one doing this series in any capacity. So it only matters when it steps on your toes but not anybody else's.
I.e. biased towards your own "work" and damn anybody else.
What you should do is let the work do the talking and not crying about another person's work.
Prove to everybody else why yours is the better even with another translation. Instead of crying about a little competition.
Idc who does it, but continuing to cry about it changes nothing.I don't get what you mean. I'm not the one doing this series in any capacity.
I just read it and trust the original group to do a good job. But then, a third-party comes in and drops a turd in the middle of the room with dumb arguments about making readers happy with their shit.
I just find it upsetting, because in some cases, the original group loses motivation because of the sniping and drops the series and we end up with just turds or even nothing at all because the sniper lost interest after a chapter or two.
The current group has been consistent and didn't delay the chapters too much. Sniping them was just rude.
All I see in your retarted ramblings about crying is that you have zero respect for people who try to do a good job and praise people who put out error-ridden slop. Go suck the dick of some clanker and get lost.Idc who does it, but continuing to cry about it changes nothing.
You trust the "Original" group, that's not anybody else's trust.
You came and bitched, that's all I needed.
If somebody wants to translate something, they're free to do so. Mistakes are made, it happens. But you crying foul makes no lick of sense.
Poke the pig and this is what I get.All I see in your retarted ramblings about crying is that you have zero respect for people who try to do a good job and praise people who put out error-ridden slop. Go suck the dick of some clanker and get lost.
