Sadly, a lot of good stories get axed because it doesn't follow popular tropes of Harem and Isekai crap. Necromance was one such a story.

I really hope that not the case, i love the stories of "dude/woman adopts orphans" but hate this tendency in japanese media of "and then they grew up and fell in love" so...incest-lite

Yea, they tend to do that because it references a classical Japanese literature which the name escapes me at the moment where a guy raises a girl to be the perfect wife

I can see at least five angles this series could go in order to add some form of conflict to disrupt his plans to live peacefully, not including the obvious about the one child becoming the hero in the future. As much as I'd like for there to just be a comfy story with a little action here and there, I feel like we're gonna see some non-traditional single dad conflicts by the end.
