From what little I read of the LN, I know that the kids go through it in the OG timeline, but I never saw anything explaining what OG!Grey was like. Was he a primary villain or just a thug, or someone that wasn't even part of the plot?

In the first chapter, the MC said that he was likely reincarnated as a background thug npc. Like the randomb badit enemies in any jrpg

Probably as "Guy who try bullying the MC when he come to get his adventuring license in this small town guild only to be one shot" or "Biggest adventurer rank in town who uses his rank to get women only to get one shot by MC after he tries to pick up Female Lead"

and they wonder they dont get any traction and get axed eventually.. lol
i remember when omake is just actually an omake, an extra..
and not a chapter update that takes the actual chapter update slot..
