"A harem means no official wife, just so many girlfriends, and the people here aren't doing that so it's evil. Nobles have a bunch of side chicks on top of an official wife, so now that an official wife is being pushed on me if I'm going to be evil I have to not do what they're doing and have only her and that also means no harem." - Auger, probably.

Joking aside, he's probably more concerned that other people are making the decision for him and hooking him up with a flat chick. If he just accepts this, that's breaking rules 1 and 3. If he tries to get out of it, basically slapping her in the face, that breaks rule 2.
