I'd think the fact he's allowing his fiancee to walk around with a literal collar is a pretty big problem. Even if working to undo it "via proper channels".

"Rules-obsessed Japan" fiction stories take a major ding because of that. Even in their fairy tales they obsess over rules. We'll see how the WN turns out.

this also turn me off a lot, the prince accused others without any proof and chained a duke's daughter as if she can't do anything about it, on other manga he would got a good scolding from the king already
