Page 11 has been changed as of the time I'm reading it (August 23, 2026).

What has page 11 been modified to? How does it support the translation here? Also, it doesn't change that it still didn't make sense and shouldn't have passed through proofreading.

Page 15 does not read the way you're describing. It reads, "I won't talk about what I was just referencing until my last day, the day before I die, so please do not ask me to explain." Both languages are saying the exact same thing.

As for page 15... wtf? "私が死ぬまでには話すことを誓おう" doesn't contain that "so please do not ask me to explain" anywhere: that's you adding too much from nowhere. And where has "誓おう" disappeared from your "translation". It means "to vow", "to swear", "to promise"... What is he promising to Yumiella, then? And where is your negation ("I won't talk") coming from? Also, "死ぬまでに" is just "before dying", not "until my last day" or "the day before I die". You're making an erroneous translation to prove a fake point.

You picked out two speech bubbles and are condemning the entire translation. Now, here's my challenge for you - do it better. Don't be some keyboard critique. Purchase the raw chapters and translate them yourself.

As for the bubbles I picked, the first one was because it didn't make sense in any way. The second is because there's another team who did that translation before ("No Group Scanlation"... can't say if it's really their name or just that they don't have one) and I remembered theirs being different so I checked to see who was wrong here. I didn't pick any other because those were the first 2 I checked and they were already egregious. No need to spend any more time in doing the work that team should have already done. My point was only to say why that translation had problems and those 2 bubbles were enough.

Now, here's my challenge for you - do it better. Don't be some keyboard critique. Purchase the raw chapters and translate them yourself.

As for translating them myself, why would I do so if someone already did? Also that argument is full of shit. There's nothing wrong with making a critique. One can criticize a movie while not being able to make one. One can criticize the result of a plumber's work even if they can't change a washer. Why couldn't one criticize a translation? I just so happen to know basic grammar and how to read a Japanese dictionary on top of being fluent in English. The last part is enough to see page 11 was wrong. The other two helped in seeing why. Me translating the full chapter wouldn't change anything in their translation being wrong. Your argument is just an "appeal to accomplishment" fallacy.

Now here's my challenge for you: proofread your counter-arguments before using them. That's not an appeal to accomplishment, it's an appeal to basic communication.


Also, I'd like to end with the first part of your comment:

Your post was needlessly harsh.

It's harsh because they ask for money in their credit pages. Twice.
