Thanks for picking this up. Will be interesting to see, if the manga follows the WN or the Anime, when it comes to the Demon Lord fight.
I'd fly Ryuu airlines, maybe it actually offers in-flight meals that don't cost an arm and a leg.
Manga may follow the anime tbh, which was already following the manga for the most part, aside if you've read the LN, Volume 4 in the afterword, author mention that always regretted how everything went down during that part and how he treated one of the characters, Alicia, which the manga and anime already gave her more character development than what the LN ever did, and author regretting not giving her anything afterward, was the reason she appeared again in Volume 4, so we may get more Alicia than what the LN gave us between Volume 2-3 (none of her), given the manga cover that at this pace, so if it continues past Vol.1, hopefully manga improve Vol.2 because it was the worst overallExactly. (Well, I read the English LN, which I assume handles the fight like the WN.)
I wonder if the manga is stuck in a no-win situation: Follow the anime and piss off those who preferred the WN/LN version. Or follow the WN/LN and piss off the anime people.
Probably it will match anime, since it looked like the anime was following the road that the manga was already going down.
I mean, remember she expressed her desire to leave the accomplishment of beating the demon lord to anyone else, so she doesn't have to worry about dragging even more attention to herself.Well, that's about time.
Teenagers don't tend to avoid people standing out. They tend to engage with them, either positively or negatively.
Does she need anyone with her to defeat the demon lord? Moral support? But then I don't think the prince would be high on that list...
Just push her through any training you can think of. I'm sure it'll work out. At worst she'll die, but that's not a big loss.
This is a promise of fun times.
We're getting into spoiler territory here. The issue is how the demon fight is handled at the end, where it's handled one way in the WN/LN and a different way in the anime (and probably the manga, though we don't know for sure yet). So I'm shoving this into spoiler even though it doesn't directly spoil anything.Manga may follow the anime tbh, which was already following the manga for the most part, aside if you've read the LN, Volume 4 in the afterword, author mention that always regretted how everything went down during that part and how he treated one of the characters,
I still haven't read LN vol 3 or 4, but I did skim the afterward of 4 to where the author talks about this. And my response is a bit complicated:
1) The author does not say or mean "I wish that I did it like the manga did it."
2) What the author does say, seems to be something that I disagree with (though I'm not really sure since I haven't read vol 4 yet). Roughly the author seems to be dividing villains into two categories: 1) clearly very evil (gets crushed); and 2) comedically evil (slap on the wrist and/or comedic punishment). (Again, I'm skimmed, so I might be misreading her.)
My complaints with that approach are: it's morally weak; it's tropetastic, and it produces unrealistic, predictable characters.
My personal theory is all versions of the story are canon. It's just1) I didn't say that at all
2) You just skimmed and not get what the author really meant or the intention behind the words, thats your problem, you probably got lost on all the sweets analogy the author threw in the afterword, which while is related and important, to what the author meant, is not what is about
Also, take note that this afterword was written 3ish years ago when manga was still new and didn't have many chapters out for the author to truly give an opinion on this matter (manga volume 1 was just published a few months prior)
Author just simply said, i regret my actions of how i handled Alicia in volume 1, which author decided to include in vol.4 to close her arc, because after that volume, she is nowhere again, which of course it was after his sweets analogy rant
As for your other spoiler, i know all that, but in the end, every work for this serie took a different path regarding that, WN had an outcome that was changed in the LN, as we saw the anime changed it once again, which manga is probably going to take or something similar, manga already have handled the character in question different enough
You sound like an entitled assholeThanks for picking this up! Very readable. Here's hoping it becomes regular releases.
Lets see if the previous group comes out of the woodwork with a bunch of new chapters to say they did not drop this and are in fact still working on it with claims of "how dare you snipe"... As they usually do whenever a new group picks up a seemingly abandoned series. If they do, PLEASE ignore them and keep releasing. Because at this point, fk 'em.
TYSM FOR PICKING THIS UP I'VE RE-READ IT SO MANY TIMES JUST HOPING IT WOULD CONTINUE THANK YOUU
I hope this group continues to translate this series. Besides the protagonist's name, which is a very minor difference, your scan quality is quite superior to those of the other two groups. It would be nice if you used the same name for the protagonist as the previous group (Yumiella). Otherwise, no notes. It was a very clean chapter - I went through it in proofreader mode and didn't find anything worth mentioning.
I would personally prefer to read whole chapters instead of half chapters, but that's a decision for you to make.
I wonder if you're trolling. Saying the "protagonist's name" is minor is a cope. And the scan quality, grammar, typesetting, and the translation are all worse. Surely you're not that retarded.I hope this group continues to translate this series. Besides the protagonist's name, which is a very minor difference, your scan quality is quite superior to those of the other two groups.
