I just finished watching and a two episode rush to the end with barely half the episode spent on the Demon Lord who spat out a "We're not so different you and I" before getting one-shotted was pretty sudden 😄

I prefer it if Alicia stay as a kind character like this. I'm tired with isekai stories where FMC reincarnated as villain and turn out the original protagonist that supposed to be kind and pure is actually an evil 2 face or something.

LN, the spoilers claim PTSD (mostly the grinding adding to the terror) led her to backstab MC

The anime actually doesn't make sense because the story has at no other point tried to right itself through the entire anime it's just an ass pull at the end of the series/season, and I hope it goes with the light novel version for the manga.

I mean yea I assumed that might be the case, but it seemed like a very strange reaction to seeing her human form for the first time. Like she definitely was explicitly seeing her as a dark shape visually, it wasn't just being overwhelmed
