"Deep down, you just... You just want to be useful to my sister, do you not?"

Actually, she wants to have her storybook wedding, and have her wife actually get out of bed without looking like she's dying... But sure... she wants to be useful...

I mean... she prevented assassins from killing your sister, and helped her adapted to life in the wolf tribe... So I'm pretty sure that qualifies as useful already. Is it self-serving? Sure, but at this point, that's nearly every character here.

Regardless, Eve is still the mvp for me. And she mentioned something interesting that the Wolf Tribe hadn't harmed humans in decades, though Reshtoku had pretty much broken that streak since the first chapter.

lol did she JUST realized what she has done? Not after her sister survived the assassins sent by her beloved prince, not after her sister's name was dragged through the mud, humiliated, cursed by an entire kingdom and exiled? Literally almost erased from even the public records? Not then but now? Is she retarded or just a psychopath who is simply pathologically incapable of understanding how all of this shit would make someone feel? I'm really trying to get what the author is trying to do with her character but it's just so nonsensical.
I just fucking hate the sister. The author is trying to paint her as some tragic character that tried her best to help the MC but just didn't know what to do but she was just a fucking moron and actively made everything a million times worse fully out of her own choices and actions.

Thank you for picking this series back up. And what a great chapter to come back to. Great character moments for Reshtoka and Aurora and the art is great. Love the crossfade of reshtoka’s face and a wolf’s.

The tensions looking forward to the chapter already. Very surprised by Auroras character I really thought at the beginning she was a villain on purpose but I guess not? We will see.

Thanks for the TL

Oft the worst villains are the ones who don't mean to be.
Who do simply because they don't see what they misunderstand.
Aurora and Reshtoku both saw what they wanted to see to keep their status in quo, yet following that path has up 'til now only brought them each woe.
Eve is showing them what a Dawns' light can bring.
I'm loving the tension of if their words will be heed, or if one will behead.

I mean, I think that the entire implication is that yes Aurora and Karina very upbringing made them emotionally stunted to the extreme.

Well at the very least, Karina while still having major problems, still exhibiting pretty normal reactions for someone who has gone through all of that shit. Many people were even surprised that her "revenge" was such a lukewarm nothing burger. However Miss "i only ever caused her misery" over here only JUST getting what she has done and we are not even %100 sure if she actually understands or it's just the author pulling some BS out of their ass to redeem her. She has a lot of explaining to do before spouting the nonsense that is "i did it for your own good"

Thank you for picking this back up. I want to see how Karina reacts now that her fiancee and sister are about to bond over her.

Logical outcome would be Karina thinking that Aurora is now trying to take away yet another one of her "possessions" if they show up together to talk to her which would be a pretty normal reaction (for her) considering everything. Since she somehow managed to stop the wolf with a sentence.

If they are smart, they should send Eve beforehand, if anything to allow Karina to say her own version of all that happened.
