I'm of the opposite opinion. What I hate is when protagonists try to hide the fact that they aren't normal. Like who the heck is going to be content spending years and years pretending to be a stupid kid? I don't think that's normal behavior at all.

At any rate, disappointed that it's another one that starts at childhood. Cover art was misleading!

Ah yes, reversi, the most groundbreaking game of all time.

dafaq? who listens to an entire tangent about how games can temper a child's character? reversi/othello otakus, is our protagonist correct?
I think any game can be easy with adapted rules. I feel offended that chess is a wanton game for MC

@Aretheus I get it that you are pointing out it’s harmless when they just accept the fact that they are the ‘inventors’ in their new world.
But I think why the authors take the time to put those scenes in their mangas is they want to show their readers that they have integrity and feel guilty over things that what other people see as small and harmless.

ahh it’s the “I’m gonna make reversi and be super suspicious about it but no one will realize something is wrong because everyone is dumb as fuck” trope

"The rules of chess are too hard to memorize."

wtf.

I could at least understand having trouble thinking ahead, but the rules are fairly easy to memorize.

Hahaha her "new" play is equally complex as chess, they're just from different cultures so that's why she's probably more familiar with other than the other (even if we can play both nowadays). I really like how energetic she is, it's funny lol
