Tbh this manga plot-wise is pretty cut and dry. I do enjoy it because of the MC and will keep reading until the end, but the men are kind of unremarkable

Unfortunately this series follows the timeless failure of doing nothing different and having a MC who does nothing at all. Have perfect knowledge of the future? Know your enemy does too? Proceed to do nothing at all. It's unrealistic, and also stupid just to make plot.
