In the web novel they just stole her pens and pencils, aparently the rules were really draconian and you couldn't even ask for a pen or was it that she thought no one would give her one? I think it was a mix of both, anyway she had to go all hardcore Clementine mode and wrote the answers with her blood (wich was funny too since it scared some people lol), and 1 teacher didn't like that (she wrote 3 exams like that) so they failed her in 1 with 0 points.

While the magic makes more sense i still miss the fact she went so harcore lol

The change probably because the situation in the WN is also forcing it.
The exam got rule that you can't borrow stationery during the test, and the campus' store is closed. Bridgette doesn't have any friend who can lend her a pen anyway, so her only choice is to write down the answers with blood.

Other teachers are cool with it and grade her accordingly.
But that one teacher just went to rage and starts gossiping about it to all classes, so pretty much everyone know Bridgette got 0 in that test by disqualification and she still ends up in rank 30 out of 100.

Part 2 of the WN. No idea how many is covered by each volume of the LN. Hasn't got time to finish the part 4.

Long spoiler below.
The 3rd Prince is burdened because he was born into a prestigious royal family without enough ability to back that reputation. He managed to make contract with two spirits, but unlike Yuri, his are just low level spirits. People also keep comparing him with his brothers (who never even got mentioned by name in the story). He tried to put an act, although people still think it's fake because he got no power.

Bridgette changed his life. He was just curious about this girl who is even more pathetic than he is. A girl born into one of the four prestigious nobilities, but only managed to make contract with nameless spirit, and got her hand burned by her own father, then chased out of the main house. Bridgette loves him and will do anything he says. People also think better of him now for being a kind prince who showed mercy to that worthless girl.

But it really change as he knew Bridgette more. He found out she's actually very smart. As eldest daughter of the Earl of Fire's house, she will be sent to the Royal Academy. It's not a matter of choice, it will smear the family reputation if the parents deny her from attending. When that day come, people will find out Bridgette is actually smart and superior to her fiance, making him pathetic again. This is why he told Bridgette to pretend stupid and arrogant, so he will always be better.
The last straw is when he found out, her contracted spirit is the legendary Phoenix. The spirit stay asleep all the time as even with Bridgette talent, it's still too powerful for her. It's why the spirit got misidentified as nameless and never answer her call. That's it, when the world founds out, Bridgette will become famous, while everyone see him as inferior. He start to look for another choice, another stupid girl.

Lisa still can't accept Bridgette's achievement. In the next test (searching for spirit stones in forest), the Prince provoked her to attack and burn Bridgette. The attempt failed. Lisa tried to accuse Bridgette, by burning her own hand. But Undine, Yuri's spirit, stand as witness. Lisa locked herself in her bedroom since that day.

Joseph had enough with Lisa too. Bridgette is daughter of a famous family. Even if practically disowned, she's still educated in manners. Bridgette's haughty act only hurts her own reputation, while giving the Prince a good reputation for being kind even to that kind of fiance.
Lisa in the other hand, is from the lowest rank of nobility. She shamelessly flirt with him in public and talk like her words are Joseph's. Fancying her demand will just ruin his own reputation, so he keep avoiding to announce engagement to Lisa. But the girl is too persistent. He need to dispose her.

Joseph came to offer another engagement with Bridgette, thinking she will gladly accept it. But Bridgette straightly refuse him in front of the other students, saying she already got another man she loves (and pulled Yuri out with her).

In the next part, the Church became interested because there's news about Bridgette's "nameless" managed to neutralize a raging Aerial (wind spirit, not Gundam). There's also accounts about pillar of light from her mansion (when she managed to call her contracted spirit out). They took chance in a scheduled review, where staff from the church are interviewing the students about relationship with their spirit, to get to see her closer without making it look like special investigation. Bridgette, after overcoming her trauma of fire, managed to summon her spirit, who shows up as a tiny fluffball chickling who is really afraid of Kira (her family is poor, so she often told that bird about how she likes to eat chicken, fat chicken).

Joseph, colluded with the botany teacher to lock Bridgette. He plan on using a magic item that can sever contract. It's used by the church to help people who inadvertently contracted harmful spirit, and the use is very restricted because no spirits would want to make another contract with people touched by that. He thought, everyone including Yuri likes Bridgette because she has a powerful spirit. If she lost that, then she will return into the pathetic girl who can only depend on Joseph.

The attempt failed, so Joseph had enough and plan on double suicide. Bridgette's spirit saved them, and one of Joseph's spirit use the magic item to sever its contract because it had enough with Joseph's behaviour. Their kingdom revere the spirits, so having a spirit go as far as "divorcing" their contract means that person must have been really horrible.
Other than the assault and arson, Joseph is also apprehended for illegally using items that shouldn't be brought out of the church. The bishop who helped him (the priest who misidentified Bridgitte's spirit as "nameless" years ago), and the botany teacher, are also apprehended.

By the way, anyone going to get the author's new title? The novel is illustrated by raemz.

Can you spoil me about the father? And maybe Yuri's family situation, i am "reading" the web novel and get by (using translating software) but i still miss a lot.

I hasn't read the final arc yet (no time). Up to the third arc, there's no in-depth story yet about Yuri's family.
But from the episode when Bridgette visited his house... Yuri is born from a different mother, yet he is the most talented. The four noble families choose head of the family from the child who contracted the highest ranking spirits, so obviously Yuri is going to inherit the family.
Yuri avoided his brothers, even though they don't seem to hate him at all and are very friendly.

Or maybe he just doesn't want them to meet his fiance, because one of his brothers is known as playboy.

Yeah one doesn't really lose knowledge although her memory would have been a little rusty. It's also a weird plot point cause she was intelligent then suddenly goes dumb during her fianced to prince, would be a little suspect is all.
She started acting dumb and intentionally getting questions wrong to make the prince happier but in the webnovel never stopped enjoying reading. The studying was reviewing information that she was already familiar with and getting prepared to answer questions on exams.

They're lucky he let them off with just a warning. The damage was limited in that she ended up being #30 instead of like in the top 3 or even the top scorer. I'm also impressed with Brigitte for overcoming this interference with just sheer tenacity.

Web novel is here ==> https://kakuyomu.jp/works/16816700426830814673 (not translated)

The new title is romance novel. Seems to be one-shot, and it's original story for contest, not web novel adaptation.
Illustration

There's a girl who can summon a duplicate of herself, to replace her when there are things she doesn't want to do (make up with her friend, going to school she she got her period, when there are physical exam, during exam). The story is told from point of view of the duplicate, who worked hard for her original despite never getting appreciated. There are some things she have for herself though, such as being part of the literature club and friendly with her original's childhood friend girl.
Then, her classmate, star of the basketball club who retired because of injury, decided to join her literature club.

Still at 1/3 of the book, so can't say about how the story will end.

The new novel. LN are usually released as full book, and the schedule is more lax, unlike manga series bound to weekly or monthly deadline. Volume 2 is confirmed, but no date yet.

For AkuAku... the web novel seems to be concluded at part 4. Otome stuffs usually don't go as long as male-targeted fantasy stories.
Volume 3 of the LN will be released in August. I thought it got axed because there's no listing for long time after volume 2.

That kind of cheating. But at least it's just written text, which is easier to remember and rewrite, compared to complex math formulas.

No, just ask for help, and it will stop. That's all you need. It's easy to explain why it stopped, and you can prove your knowledge anyway.

Even if they're just trying to get one over the other, they do have some chemistry.

Missed 62 points, and got rank 30? So 29 students got at least 90% scores? That's quite high.

Considering the method of cheating, she should've caught up better. A test is mostly about thinking, while the actual writing time is minor. If you know what to write it doesn't take that long to write an entire exam.

So it's a world with spirits, but the school is so incompetent that no one thought about protection from spirits interfering during the exam? This couldn't possibly be the first time this happened, so it's pretty ridiculous.

Thank you for the release!

which it is, if a spirt can be seen like that the teachers should be watching more carefully
According to the web novel, the degree to which person can see spirits is dependant on the person's magic power (apart from their contracted spirits). It's less forced that way too.

Considering the method of cheating, she should've caught up better. A test is mostly about thinking, while the actual writing time is minor. If you know what to write it doesn't take that long to write an entire exam.
That depends on how quickly the brownie is erasing her questions, when during the exam it began erasing the answers, and how quickly Bridget can write (which includes slowing down for legibility or intelligibility). Personally, I found that just as much of my time during exams was taken up by writing as thinking (if not more — although my brain never shuts up; phrasing and spelling in particular were things I had/have to worry about) — it depends on the subject, the test, and how your mind works.

They changed it from the novel?! I thought getting the pen stolen was way more petty than the spirit erasing the page.

I gotta say I prefer the manga version. I thought it was weird that the professor's response in the web novel to a student
writing everything in blood
was "she's mocking us! instant fail!" rather than "...shit, getting dumped broke this girl's brain." Plus, it's just such an extreme response to the problem. Having it be a case of a spirit interfering works better and keeps the conflict tied to the students rather than needlessly escalating the hate she receives from others.
Yeah but the stealing of the pen was more petty in my opinion it's true that writing in blood was a bit intense.
