if this world follows the game, alicia should be terrified of mary at this point while mary would be harboring humiliation-driven hatred towards alicia. the two's position are polar opposites to begin with, and at this point their relationship should be ruined beyond repair. that said, we haven't exactly strayed from the game's storyline either.
