Buy a camera that doesn't just save to an SD card. I've bought some before that notify you of motion detection on an app for your phone. Pretty sure this one worked well (although it might be bigger than what you want).

Place something on top of the door frame that'll fall down when the door is opened
Then climb out the window so you don't trigger it yourself

Tie one end of a piece of string to the door handle, and the other to the pin of an M67 grenade. Tape the grenade body to the door frame adjacent to the door handle, ensuring you do not tape over the spoon. You may want to pre-bend the pin to make removal easier, and tape the grenade upside-down so the spoon falls off cleanly. If the grenade is over a hard floor, put a towel down where the spoon will land to reduce the noise it makes.

Hang a bell right above the door so that it sounds if anyone tries to open it, hang multiples if you'd like. My grandfather's house uses one and it is impossible to not make it ring unless you know it is there beforehand.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone

Using tape (+paper) are the most recommended method

I don't know about the hair method tho, I'll keep that in mind, since my hair tends to fall off a lot

Depending on how fancy you wanna get, you could put a sock behind the door or a piece of rubbish as you leave so that when the door gets opened it will have moved, so when you get back you only would want to inch it open just enough to poke your head through to see if its still up against the door or if its 2 feet back to where the door would rest
That's what I've been doing all this time, not really confidant about it tho, thinking what if someone placed it back

@crazybars
How about a bell hung or tied to the door's inside handle?
Just to fuc with this person, do it randomly when they can't see it.
Or, tape multiple bells to the door as well.
Or buy a motion sensor activated sound player and set it to play something obnoxious.
Can't afford those stuff, like cameras and sensors

@Greenfrost
I'm surprised no one has asked why yet.

@Teddy
I thought it was obvious, OP is definitely a consieur of questionable interests and is expecting some black uniforms to gather evidence
A bit paranoid
Also, I haven't cleaned my room for 2 months, uncle or aunt will probably mad at me lol
Yes, hiding my come

The window is locked on the inside

Just watch Death Note. one of the early episodes has a segment on the entry detection things he did.
I agree

My only idea involves jumper cables, an open & closed circuit involving the door handle, and a car battery... ^.^

Who needs high tech when something McGuyver could whip up in 8 seconds will do? :D
