being skilled and being strong aren't always equivalent. here, they used that adversity and created strength.

I feel like I could write 5 paragraphs explaining why I loved this chapter so much! I don't know if it's the interview-POV format of the chapter or the relatable/easy to grasp mindset of that player, but the storytelling of this chapter was pretty fcking good 😤. I know it's easy to say that when the character is literally telling you how he feels, but believe me I've seen some authors fuck up that too!
Thank you so much for the chapter BBP
Also, The smile of that kid on Page 6, I swear to God I've seen that exact same smile on Ashito 😳

The link Gin posted says enough, but when looking for team names and cities mentioned here i found this tidbit: "Aomori and its surrounding area are renowned for heavy snowfall, the heaviest among all Japanese cities, and, in fact, among the heaviest in the world."

A mixed race Japan squad would be world class honestly. With their technical prowess and physical bodies. France, Germany, Belgium, etc. all feature superb mixed race athletes (e.g. Mbappe, Lukaku, Boateng, etc.) Cause let's be real, the Japanese body can't keep up with South American, African, and European bodies. Athleticism is a huge part of sports whether we like it or not.

Correct me if I'm wrong (i have limited knowledge), but yea I think it's a sad reality.
