The line about the sculpture is so weird and only barely makes any sense

Yeah, that's on me actually - my original translation was "He's flawless and suffering like a Greek sculpture..." which makes it sound like Tadashi is the one suffering. That's wrong.
Here's the original Japanese:

非の打ち所が無くて
ギリシャ彫刻みたいに
苦しんでると・・・

The one suffering is Papa (Tsubaki's dad). The previous panel sets him as the topic: "Papa was dead set on breaking them up, but..." — then the て-form makes it causal: "Since [Tadashi] is beyond reproach, Papa is suffering like a Greek statue."
In Japan, ギリシャ彫刻 (Greek sculpture) is associated with idealized beauty + stoic contained suffering — like Laocoon. The mangaka's being playful: the dad wanted to oppose the boyfriend but the dude's too perfect to attack, so Papa's just frozen in silent agony like a marble statue. As for a more naturalized take: "The guy's so beyond reproach that Papa's just frozen there, suffering in silence..." — same idea, drops the sculpture reference, sounds less jarring in English. But the manga literally says Greek sculpture, so I kept it.

I've been reading this manga since chapter 3 and it might sound corny but its a pretty fond memory of mine. @sebin.dev I know you said you might not translate any more but I really do appreciate any amount of work you can do because I think its a shame that this has been abandoned twice already.
