To those that might be wondering:
3 million yen=$20,000 in u.s. currents.

So...yeah.

Also, if it were me, I would have picked the one with the luck boost since no one seems to want it for some reason.

Same. The 10% rare item drop is already worth it, considering you could easily make fucktons of money just by selling rare mats to others, but adding in a general luck boost, as well? Most games have crits tied to a Luck stat, if it's present.

Dang, I can't imagine how "behind" the curve they are in comparison to other players when mangas already depict beta players vs day one release players like atomic bomb vs a coughing baby

"No one wants to join the combat faction"

And that's how you know Arcadia didn't release in the Americas, because no shot the combat faction would be the least popular in the U.S.

What choices.
A money faction that is so extreme that there's no way the in game currency is worth shit.

A production faction that doesn't tell you shit, is self produced items better? Who knows.

A drop rate faction that gives a 10% boost without telling what the 10% means, is it flat 10% or 110% of the current rate?

And a fighting faction that seems like the super obvious choice for anyone that wants to play the game and not just farm gear all day...

So carefree. Blowing all these savings on some old online game that might lose service at any moment, especially since such an expense won't attract a large playerbase - and apparently new players are rare as it is.
Also, it sounds like the grindiest chorefest of a game. You work your butt of irl just so you could toil some more in-game, huh.

O . o!
Mad lad made 20k usd from part time jobs, while excelling at school work and still managing to play other games...?

Dud must eat, sleep, shit, and shower all in the same ten minutes to keep up with that kind of schedule.

The in game explanations often do t tell you much, and he's purely working off those, he's avoided learning anything about the game itself until now.

As for the 300K, I assume a huge part of that is for the full dive system itself, which can probably be used with other games. It wouldn't have any players if it were a single game setup. Look at the 3DO and Neo Geo back when, they were getting trounced by the Atari friggin Jaguar because of the stupidly high cost. (At least the NeoGeo was kinda worth it.)

Isn't luck boost the most popular according to page 25(23).

The fighting one is the least popular, that's why the MC chose it, to be a big fish in small pond.
And honestly I can see why it's unpopular, the wealth faction seems so incredibly stacked, that it might actually be a giant pain to get any decent gear as the fighting faction.
Luck finds all the stuff, production makes all the cool weapons and wealth buys it all.

Ah, thanks for reminding me to block asmodeus scans for releasing chapters in drip-feed and keeping over half locked behind a paywall.
