I hope someone would translate the Nichijou 4-koma side story. Though it's nothing but a spoiler for those who had only read the manga ?
I say everything went crazy in the side story while looking at the raw chapters (sad I can't read it) but thanks to some readers I know that
Kaori was using Hajime's uniform to replenish her energy by sniffing on it. And Hajime wants his uniform back during his reunion with Kaori.
@reika True, but I was just addressing your revenge concern. How the manga will follow the light novel or web novel (or even go in it's own direction) remains to be seen.
@mage_goo Right, Berserk can be dark. There's a quite a few super dark manga out there like Hyouruu Net Cafe or ones about crimes.. Some of them hentai lol...BB, emergence, etc...
@ratik lol...if you actually read or even watched Berserk you wouldn't say it's a blatant rip off. It's a classic
The story was only good until the point where they introduced the rabbit girl.
This made the story boring because:
1. She's just annoying and acts as a cockblock to the main character and his female sidekick
2. She's covering the melee weakness of the main character and his sidekick
3. She just appeared out of nowhere and never had any elaborated backstory; instead, she's even listed as traitors together with her tribesmen [forgot the reason since I dropped reading the novel after they cleared the 2nd dungeon, her nature is just making the story too annoying to continue reading, there are basically several chapters in length combined of unnnecessary dialogue between her and Yue]
This is one of the worst Isekai novels one could read, the main character is a wuss as soon as he got his first female sidekick and gets even more retarded as more people join the party.
If I was the author, I would've made him kill the rabbit girl to reestablish him as an anti-hero instead of letting him go down the drain as a harem king like that guy from the jobless cheat novel.
But no, the reader has to suffer from reading pages of nothingness while the author is trying hard to establish her as a main character while being a try-hard to emphasize the "distance" between the male main character and her with him shrugging off her sexual molestation.
If you ask me, a male main character that lets himself get sexually exploited and molested by a female main character he knows +- nothing about and whose advances he clearly disapproves & dislikes is worth nothing in a story that is supposed to be focused on survival and brutality.
Started off really strong with the in-depth world building of the first few chapters, but fell off as soon as the walking fan service (aka rabbit girl) appeared. Considering dropping the manga entirely at this point... v_v
Yeah, was reading for the world building and some of the monster art being cool, but now it's fanservice, harem, ever more elaborate and nonsensical gigantic sci fi weapons and out of place humor... It's a complete derivative mess that's going to go nowhere.
Fanservice is a part of the story lol In the WN/LN some lewd things happen and it may have or may have not shared explicit details. Recommend reading the LN/WN. Bunny-chan plays an important role as a member of their party. She deals physical damage. Anyways, gonna leave it at that. The details in the LN/WN actually matter; it slightly throws off the story when they don't include it in the manga.
@Korpi93 I feel you, noticed things were going south by the time the reunion with the Teachers group happened, but it didnt really settle into my head how bad the series had gotten till the Ice Dungeon.
I initially didn't want to read this since I started with the LN by J-Novel and the mangas never ever live up to the the originals, but I caved since Arifureta's definitely one of my favorites. I did end up dropping it though since yeah, it doesn't have the same feel as the LN. I'm kinda surprised but also not at the same time that reception on this series is so divided.
