Even if her parent(s) don't call the police, it doesn't mean that she's safe. There's a number of ways they could easily track her down and get her back. One such example, is waiting at the school for her to show up and getting her then. Or (in the chance that she avoids to going to school), they could speak with the faculty members and perhaps find out through them (and probably the students) that she been hanging out the with the mc. And perhaps even worse, they could claim that they worried about her since they haven't seen her in weeks and spin the lie that the mc was the one who was beating her.

So yeah, hopefully the mc and girl don't wait too long and tell the mc's parents (assuming that he doesn't live alone) about the situation, and then contact the authorities.
